The Lectio<\/em> Series is a semi-annual symposium on spiritual theology hosted by the St Benedict Center. Keynote speakers address varied topics on spiritual formation and the inner life. Lectio<\/em> events will be held in the spring and the fall each year.<\/p>\r\n The St Benedict Center welcomes the Revd Dr Michael Lloyd, Principal of Wycliffe Hall, University of Oxford, as the keynote speaker for our upcoming Lectio Series event. Dr Lloyd has taught theology at Cambridge University, St Paul’s Theological Centre, and the University of Oxford. His particular interests are: the problem of pain; the problem of evil; and theology and music. He is the author of Cafe Theology: Exploring Love, the Universe and Everything<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\r\n Come join us for what promises to be an encouraging and enlightening evening meditating on Scripture and our Christian experience. Dr Lloyd’s lecture will be a timely address as Christians walk the way of the cross with Jesus this Lenten season.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Last autumn, the St Benedict Center welcomed the Revd David Beckmann<\/a>, Executive Director of the Christian Study Center of Chattanooga<\/a>\u00a0and regular contributor at the C.S.
